Using Star Emojis In Your Facebook Ads?
Got this from our Facebook rep a few months back:
Avoid using star emojis for example when you add
Rated ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ into your ads (which I've used in testimonial ads often)...
This comes under the 'Obfuscation' policy violation!
Facebook ads policy MUST be something at the forefront of your mind as an advertiser on the platform.
We've run 100's of audits and there's always going to be grey areas like 'can I run one star?' or 'what if I use black stars?' which comes up, but equally, there are also many basics people don't follow too like avoid health-related before/after pictures, not calling people out on personal attributes or ensuring landing page experiences are in-line with policy (avoiding fake scarcity timers, pop-ups etc).
In 2020's you might see more personal profile, account, and Business Manager bans.
Prevention is better than cure!
